Patented Innovation
One of the many innovations that set GameTime apart from other playground manufacturers is our patented DirectBolt® technology. While some play systems are assembled in the field and have to be measured, aligned, and adjusted during installation, GameTime's DirectBolt connections are precision drilled at our factory so that they are compliant from the start and can be installed quickly and easily. When our play systems are shipped from the factory, they are certified by IPEMA as compliant with ASTM standards.

Tru-Loc Connections for PowerScape
Our PowerScape play systems use a specialized DirectBolt connection called Tru-Loc. Tru-Loc uses an innovative enclosure that helps prevent vandalism and gives the entire design a clean, sleek look.

Decks and Uprights
Each bolt has enough sheer strength to withstand the weight of a mid-size car - we use eight or more per deck to ensure a strong, compliant connection on every playground.

Every play component on our play systems use DirectBolt connections to ensure strength and stability. That means every slide, climber, panel, and roof is attached with industry-leading technology that leaves the factory compliant with ASTM standards.

Strength and Stability
DirectBolt uses the same structural connection found in bridges, office buildings, and any major construction project where strength, stability, and accuracy are critical. Our play systems use threaded inserts and provide a stronger connection than other methods. When it comes to children's playground equipment, nothing is more important.
Less Hardware, Faster Installation
DirectBolt connections require much less hardware and are easier to install and maintain. For example, a GameTime DirectBolt connection only requires four pieces of hardware per connection. Other assembly methods require as many as eleven pieces of hardware that must be measured, adjusted, and repeatedly aligned until the components are assembled. That's 66% less hardware and much less installation time.
